Photos: A rare sighting of orcas off the Palos Verdes Peninsula

A rare pod of at least 10 orcas, including two calves, was sighted off Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California.
The orcas spotted were likely Eastern Tropical Pacific orcas, not the more commonly seen transient orcas. [ more ]
