Civo CEO on free credits, egress fees, and going on-prem
Civo, a local cloud supplier, wants an overhaul of the cloud market to allow for easier swapping of cloud providers.
Civo's CEO believes that there should be a limit on the amount of free credits given by cloud giants, as they create lock-in and make it difficult to switch providers.

Amazon won't support AirPlay or Chromecast, but will adopt Matter Casting instead
Amazon adds support for the Matter open casting standard, allowing users to send videos and content from the Prime Video app to Amazon hardware devices.
The feature currently supports casting to the Echo Show 15 smart display, with support for Fire TVs and more streaming partners coming soon. [ more ]
