The province has officially broken ground on the new building, part of the controversial Ontario Place redevelopment on Toronto's waterfront. The new science centre will have a smaller footprint than the old one, but will feature a building on the mainland, renovated pods and an updated IMAX Cinesphere. It's going to be one of Canada's landmark attractions as we build and revitalize the waterfront that is fit for a world-class city and province, Ford said.
