Sorry I have a real life. A lot of gamers communicate primarily online, through Twitter and DMs, and the way people talk in those spaces can be very different. That said, what was sent clearly wasn't received appropriately, and I understand that. I just wish this could've been handled privately instead of turning into a public pile on.
Rhyne's attack involved unauthorized remote desktop sessions, deletion of network administrator accounts, and changing of passwords, showcasing significant security vulnerabilities.
Caruana was second to the former Russian, Mikhail Antipov, in the Saint Louis Masters, though he was unbeaten with 7/9, so this was still a good result. But then, in the American Cup, a double elimination format knockout, he lost to both Wesley So and Levon Aronian in similar fashion, winning the first classical game with White, losing the second with Black, then losing the speed tie-break 1.5-2.5.

Our leadership team was recently made aware of allegations against an Embark employee. We take these matters seriously, and as a part of our process for addressing any types of allegations, we immediately hired a law firm to conduct an external investigation. The investigation did not substantiate the allegations, but we found the situation unsustainable and mutually agreed to part ways with Rob.

The Board's findings highlight that Meta's current system to properly label AI content is overly dependent on self-disclosure of AI usage and escalated review and does not meet the realities of today's online environment. The case also highlights the challenges with cross-platform proliferation of such content, with the content appearing to have originated on TikTok before appearing on Facebook, Instagram, and X.
A toxicology report obtained from the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner shows that Naroditsky had methamphetamine, amphetamine, mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine in his system at the time of death. The latter two compounds are the primary psychoactive ingredients in kratom, a plant-based supplement that can act as a stimulant or sedative depending on dosage. Methamphetamine and amphetamine are synthetic stimulants that can cause severe cardiovascular strain, organ damage and fatal overdoses.
Magnus Carlsen, the world No 1, visited Central London last weekend and won the chess.com speed championship for the fourth time in a row. The Norwegian, 35, defeated France's Alireza Firouzja, 22, by 15-12 after a three-hour struggle. Last year in Paris the same two players met, but Carlsen's winning margin was a much wider 23.5-7.5. The format for speed chess is 90 minutes of five minutes blitz, 60 minutes of three minutes blitz, and 30 minutes of one minute bullet. All the segments had additional increments of one second per move.
The service, referred to as 1Campaign, provides hackers with a one-stop-shop for running malicious ads and enabling fraud "at scale," a recent report by cybersecurity company Varonis uncovered. Using just a single dashboard, hackers can cloak malicious content from security researchers, ad platform reviewers, and automated scanners - who instead see a benign white page - and target general users with phishing or scam attempts.
The MGA would like to remind consumers not to utilise services provided by an entity unless they have ascertained that the entity in question is authorised to provide such services by the MGA. The gaming regulatory framework obliges authorised persons to comply with strict legal requirements in the interest of consumers. The activities of unlicensed entities are unregulated and do not provide the necessary safeguards delineated by virtue of the framework, making transactions with such entities risky for consumers.
Never feel that you are totally safe. In July 2025, one company learned the hard way after an AI coding assistant it dearly trusted from Replit ended up breaching a "code freeze" and implemented a command that ended up deleting its entire product database. This was a huge blow to the staff. It effectively meant that months of extremely hard work, comprising 1,200 executive records and 1,196 company records, ended up going away.
