Attorneys for accused killer Nima Momeni want his murder case moved from San Francisco, claiming that the city's tech population sees the victim, Bob Lee, as a 'celebrity' and it would be difficult for Momeni to get a fair trial there.
Momeni's attorneys argue that new photos of him in his jail cell, published by the San Francisco Standard, could bias a San Francisco jury against him. They claim the photos were taken without Momeni's consent and suggest there may be civil and criminal liability for their publication.
Judge Loretta Giorgi, who is hearing the case, seems to agree with Momeni's attorneys.
