Bruins Alumni Bob Sweeney Reveals How He Became 'Swoop'
Bob Sweeney, a former Boston Bruins player, was honored with the Hockey Legacy Award at The Sports Museum's 'The Tradition' event.
Sweeney got the nickname 'Swoop' from his former teammate Keith Crowder and it was inspired by the nickname of Wayne Carlton, a member of the 1969-70 Stanley Cup-winning Bruins team. [ more ]
