"It's an amalgamation of the Chicago neighborhood aesthetic with a Bulls fan, quite literally. It's kind of on the nose, but that's how I juxtapose the elements of my work, with the structure of a home and then a figure who is around or in the home."

The Duchamp exhibition at MoMA is encyclopedic, thought-provoking, and sometimes surprising. It spans the entire sixth floor and invites viewers to engage deeply with his work.

In the midst of the fabulous The Winter Show last weekwhere connoisseurship, collecting, and cultivated taste converge under one vaulted roofthere was a moment of pause, exhale, and recalibration at the heart of the fair: the VIP Collectors Lounge. This year, not as sponsorship, but as philosophy made spatial. It was titled The Modern Salon. Conceived and designed by frenchCALIFORNIA, The Modern Salon rejected the trade-fair instinct toward visual noise and brand fragmentation.

Dealers like artists with established sales records because it lowers their already considerable financial exposure. Renting a gallery space in Tribeca costs anywhere between $8,000-30,000 a month on top of staff, marketing, and daily operations. With that kind of overhead, very few business owners can afford to take on the financial risk of untested artists.

What gives me encouragement to continue to use my family as inspiration is that, if you look back in history, the famous portraits that Van Gogh did are portraits of people he knew, the postman or his friends. Located on Jambiani beach along Zanzibar's east coast, Drifting Cloud is a by Vincent Leroy that interacts directly with the wind. The sculptural work is constructed from carbon rods, joints, and kite- discs, forming a lightweight structure capable of responding to subtle air currents. The installation's modular components move independently while remaining part of a connected whole, generating a dynamic, constantly changing composition. Movements vary according to wind strength, ranging from fine vibrations to broader gestures, producing an organized yet unpredictable rhythm.

The quadrennial exhibition introduces a new type of transnational, transdisciplinary program to Doha, rooted in issues that affect both Qatar and the wider region. Situated in the southern tip of Mumbai, the neighbourhoods of Colaba and Fort are home to dock yards, grand colonial architecture and most of the city's museums and contemporary art galleries. But as Mumbai's art scene grows, it is also expanding beyond its historic art district into the fashionable western suburb of Bandra and high-rise financial districts like Lower Parel and Worli.
