The area was previously dubbed "London's scrapyard" by Sowmya Parthasarathy, urban designer at Arup who worked on the Olympic Park for more than a decade. The site was home to light industry, dominated by overhead powerlines, and was broken up by rivers, roads and railways.

The facade is defined by a system of bundled aluminum tubes that shift from vertical to horizontal, forming openings, canopies, and thresholds, creating a dynamic visual identity.

Sabahs are made entirely by hand from 100% leather in either Texas or Turkey—two regions with distinct yet deeply rooted relationships to the material. The result is a shoe that varies subtly from pair to pair, even within the same size.

We're looking at all of our infrastructure to make sure that it can hold up in any condition, but especially when we're welcoming the world. We're actually getting out there and replicating what service would look like on some of those busier days.

The bordeaux tempo logo sits at centre court and sets the tone for the rest of the design. There is a sharp contrast between the purple logo and the light wood flooring around it that makes the design pop.

The Pignatelli Reservoirs were part of a water supply system for over a century, consisting of four large reservoirs that could store up to 80,000 m³ of water.

The project addresses the limitations of contemporary stadium design, where large-scale venues often function as isolated, event-driven structures with limited engagement in daily urban life.

I am delighted that the once-in-a-generation redevelopment of the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre has reached another key milestone with the submission of the planning application for its transformation. The 15hectare site, opened in 1964, is set for a revamp of its athletics stadium, indoor arena, and swimming and diving facilities.
