The Met will own the Neue Galerie’s Beaux-Arts mansion, renaming it the Met Ronald S. Lauder Neue Galerie-or the Met Neue Galerie, for short-while preserving its museum experience. The news arrives ahead of the Neue Galerie's 25th anniversary, as well as its renovations, slated to take place from May 27 through August 2026.
