Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey will return May 15 at Intuit Dome for a featherweight MMA bout streaming live globally on Netflix.
Gina Carano, whose acting career was largely derailed after a series of inflammatory social media posts led to her termination from The Mandaldorian in 2021, is returning to combat sports. On Saturday, May 16th, Carano will face Ronda Rousey in an MMA bout at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, streaming live on Netflix. The matchup is being billed as Netflix's first live MMA event.
Ahead of the climb, Honnold told Netflix's Tudum that viewers would "probably be on edge watching this," but hoped they would "get a little bit of my joy from the experience - that they can appreciate the fun of it and the beauty of it, the scenery, just the whole experience."
