'Potentially hazardous' asteroid will skim past Earth TODAY
A 'potentially hazardous' asteroid known as 2008 OS7 will pass by Earth today, coming as close as 1.7 million miles to our planet.
The asteroid is estimated to have a diameter of up to 1,574 feet and will be traveling at a speed of over 40,000 miles per hour.
