A few days before the NCAA women's volleyball national championship, Texas A&M opposite hitter Logan Lednicky posted an old family video on her Instagram account. Lednicky is maybe 5 or 6 years old in the video, wearing a maroon A&M shirt, and doing cartwheels on the grass at Kyle Field, A&M's football stadium. "Say 'Gig 'Em, Aggies,'" her mom, Leigh Lednicky, implores her, and little Logan walks up to the camera, smiles and gives a thumbs-up.

Pittsburgh's making its fifth consecutive visit to the semifinals, something no other program has done before, but will this be the year the Panthers make it through to the national championship game? Pitt's Olivia Babcock, the reigning National Player of the Year, is a name mentioned numerous times as a must-watch player throughout the tournament, but who else should volleyball fans keep their eye on heading into the semis?

The Aggies almost had the same thing done to them when they won the first two sets against the Huskers, but lost the next two and were forced to a first-to-15 fifth set (must win by 2). Texas A&M won the deciding set 15-13 in front of stunned sold-out crowd at Nebraska's Bob Devaney Center. It was the Huskers' first loss at home since Nov. 26, 2022, against Minnesota.
