Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus convicted in Bangladesh labour law case
Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus has been convicted of violating Bangladesh's labour laws in a case seen as politically motivated.
Yunus and his colleagues were sentenced to six months in simple imprisonment but were granted bail pending appeals. [ more ]
