Andrew Johansen, 34, is charged with motor vehicle homicide by OUI and negligence after a woman was killed and another was injured in a car accident on Friday, the office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn said. He was arraigned in New Bedford District Court. Johansen was also cited for a marked lane violation and possessing an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, court records show.

One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a crash in Stoughton that occurred during a police pursuit Saturday. At about 10:40 a.m., Brockton police attempted to stop a pickup truck driven by Jason Ortiz, 26, of Brockton, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's Office. Ortiz led police in pursuit into Stoughton, where his vehicle hit a sedan.

The initial investigation found that Mutugi ran a red light at the intersection of Main and Hopkins streets, leading to a fatal accident.
