SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched prototype satellites for the Missile Defense Agency and missile tracking satellites for the US Space Force.
The satellites are designed to track hypersonic missiles from countries like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
Hypersonic missiles are smaller, more maneuverable, and difficult to track compared to conventional ballistic missiles. [ more ]
