Christmas is just a few weeks away - and London is in full festive mode. Lights displays are a-sparkling, buzzy markets are a-flogging and ice rinks are a-skating. There are still plenty of non-festive things to indulge in across the city, too, from the newly opened Paddington musical to the acclaimed West End production of The Spy Who Came In From The Cold.
The Metropolitan line from Wembley Park to Aldgate faced disruption due to the same incident just before 1.30pm today. Services were still being impacted more than five hours later. TfL said at 6pm on Thursday: Jubilee Line: Severe delays due to an earlier animal on the track. London buses, C2C, DLR, Thameslink, Mildmay line and Elizabeth line are accepting tickets via any reasonable routes.
Several major transport services will see disruption over the weekend, including the District, Elizabeth, Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines As always, there's loads on in London this weekend to keep you busy. Whether you're going to the last bits of BFI London Film Festival, learning about hip-hop history at Somerset House, exploring the brand new Kew Gardens halloween train or getting stuck into the Black British Book Festival, you'll likely be using public transport to get around.
