The rehabilitation project of Casa P. Colina is based on a regenerative view of architecture, understood as a process of transformation that reconciles the natural, the built, and the existing. Rather than replacing, the intervention rewrites the house from its own material, integrating structures, materials, and memories as active components of the new spatial system.

Drawing Architecture Studio presents The Clock House No.2 at the 7th Shenzhen Bay Public Art Season in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, on view until April 19th, 2026. Commissioned for the public art program, the Beijing-based practice reinterprets the historical automaton clock as architecture, using low-cost industrial components to construct a structure that chimes and glows every fifteen minutes. Where the clocks once gifted to emperors represented technical virtuosity and expensive craftsmanship, this installation adopts a deliberately rough and economical construction.

Arkhive is a full-scale developed by master's students from the Design for Manufacture (DfM) program at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. The project explores fabrication and reconfigurable construction systems through an adaptable truss structure assembled using interlocking joinery. The pavilion was conceived as a demonstrator for construction systems that can be fully disassembled, reconfigured, and . Designed and built by students and staff, the free-standing structure is organized around two twisting timber arches anchored to plinths.

La Biennale di Venezia has announced that architects Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu will curate the 20th International Architecture Exhibition, opening in May 2027. Founders of Amateur Architecture Studio and leading voices in contemporary practice, the duo is known for an approach rooted in craftsmanship, material reuse, and deep engagement with place. Their appointment brings renewed attention to vernacular knowledge, construction cultures, and the social realities shaping architecture today.

Led by Josephine Michau, CEO and Founder of CAFx and curator of the Danish Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023, the Biennial launches under the theme "Slow Down," reflecting on how societies can respond to the pressures of rapid population growth, resource consumption, and environmental challenges by rethinking the pace of change in the built environment. The program will feature over 200 events, including city walks, film screenings, lectures, exhibitions, performances, and harvest gatherings, exploring approaches to sustainable futures through architecture.
