ESA orbiter discovers huge ice water deposits at Mars' equator
Massive ice deposits have been found beneath the equator of Mars by the European Space Agency's Mars Express orbiter.
The ice deposits are estimated to be around 3.7km thick and would cover the entirety of Mars in a shallow ocean about two meters deep if melted. [ more ]
