Grenfell families left in limbo' lash out at delays to decision on demolition
Residents and bereaved families are in limbo over the future of Grenfell Tower after a new maintenance contract was awarded until 2027.
Demolition of the tower has been recommended to start no later than May 2022 due to safety concerns and the risk of further deterioration.
Spending on the tower site has been about 25m a year and residents feel trapped by the indecision. [ more ]
