New Year Honours 2024: Derbyshire MPs recognised in list
Dame Margaret Beckett and Maggie Throup, two Derbyshire MPs, have been recognized for their services to politics in the New Year Honours list.
Beckett's damehood has been upgraded to a Dame Grand Cross, while Throup has become a CBE. [ more ]
