Oklahoma hires Libs of TikTok's Chaya Raichik to help censor public school books
Ryan Walters, superintendent of the Oklahoma State Department of Education, appointed Chaya Raichik, an anti-LGBTQ+ activist, to the Library Media Advisory Committee.
Raichik has faced backlash for her posts targeting LGBTQ+ educators and allies, leading to bomb and death threats against schools.
Walters supports Raichik's work and believes her perspective will benefit Oklahoma students and families. [ more ]
