A gay former FBI official alleges illegal termination after displaying a Pride flag and has sued amid concerns of a spreading 'Lavender Scare' within the FBI.
A cisgender woman in Arizona is speaking out after she says she was harassed by cops in the women's restroom of a Tucson Walmart late last month. Kalaya Morton, 19, of Phoenix, says she and her ex-girlfriend were using adjacent stalls in the store's women's restroom when two male sheriff's deputies entered. 'They were flashing lights on our feet and saying, 'You have to get out of here. You have to come out. We need to talk to you,'' Morton told .
➡️ Another Republican got busted for sending racist and Nazi-liking texts to colleagues - this time Trump's nominee for the Office of Special Counsel. Meanwhile, a bar in Alabama had its liquor license denied after advertising a drag show, and LGBTQ+ college students in Texas are reporting more harassment and mistreatment under Gov. Greg Abbott's policies. Independent journalist Erin Reed reports on a federal judge ruling in favor of public schools refusing to comply with Trump's trans ban; and we spoke to transgender entertainer Ts Madison who says that the Trump administration should "pack it up."
Thomas Fuller, who owned Crossroads Bar and Grill, asserts that the Town of Rockford "effectively singled [him] out because of his sexual orientation, deprived him of equal protection under the law, and forced him to close his business," according to the lawsuit filed in September in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama Northern Division. After obtaining a business and an ABC Board liquor license in 2023, Fuller was scheduled to meet with the town council in July to request a local liquor license. This is "the same letter of approval that was issued to other businesses in Rockford," the suit claims.
I think it's truly amazing you reached out, but because of my faith, I won't be able to complete this particular hairstyle for you. Please understand, this isn't out of discrimination or judgment! We are all sinners and no one is better than the next person.
I am a firm believer in history stupidly repeating itself, particularly bad history, because for some reason men in power don't think history applies to them. Or they think something that was universally agreed upon as bad is something good they want to bring back and shove down people's throats. After World War II and the horrific destruction caused by the Nazi Party, the world said never again, so much so that the party was banned in Germany.
Here are some of the worst. '27 genders' "You're not going to come in here and teach that there's 27 genders," he said in July while announcing a test to be given to teachers who come to Oklahoma from liberal states to make sure they're not "woke." Most likely, no one believes there are 27 genders - or teaches that.
The Democrats, they find one thing in there and they promote it and try to get a narrative. This investigation is about providing justice and accountability to the victims, and the Democrats you know, it's really disappointing to see how they've acted. I mean, Garcia, he's been on the job for about two weeks, he's proven to me to just be a real big drama queen because this is all about providing transparency to the American people and justice for the victims. It's not about scoring political points. So hopefully he'll mature up and get serious about the investigation. We've got a lot more documents we expect to get in.
He died 20 years ago, and I can say with certainty that he wouldn't be dining at his beloved Cracker today. If he knew the chain harbored hostility toward LGBTQ+ people, and that his grandson was gay, he'd "stay the hell away," as he'd say. If he knew how deep in the bag they were for Donald Trump, he'd most certainly opt for Bob Evans instead.
