Latino Catholics are building more of their own institutions, including a major leadership-training group and the country's first Latino owned-and-run Catholic retreat center.

The Ranger School curriculum requires extreme physical fitness, including running, lifting heavy weights, and performing strenuous activities in a limited time. It poses a significant challenge that sees high dropout rates.

Elzer brings more than three decades of experience to the role, offering performance-focused training for leadership at all levels.

"Those are the forces that drive business strategy or competitiveness," Reed said. "So my services take HR within the framework of PESTLE."

"I think an LGBTQ leadership program is great, but we need to help stabilize our LGBTQ youth and get them to a safe location to live."

Leaders need ongoing training to ensure they have the necessary skills and know-how. Key activities help them bridge gaps and gain real-world experience.
