The victim was brought to the hospital in life-threatening condition and his condition is still serious but is no longer life-threatening, according to Insp. Jonathan Rose. The preliminary information we have is that this was a targeted event, Rose told reporters at a news conference later Monday morning. Rose said there is no threat to public safety at this time.
