Barcelona has decided to delay their efforts to secure the signing of Liverpool star Luis Diaz, despite identifying the Colombian as a priority target to strengthen their attack under new boss Hansi Flick.
The tragic accident claimed the lives of Jota and his brother Andre Silva when their Lamborghini burst into flames after a suspected tyre blowout, just days after Jota’s wedding.
"Sadly for us and for him, he'll be out for a period of time, probably six to nine months. Obviously it's the cruciate and it was worse than we'd hoped, but he's very philosophical in his life and he knows he's going to get all the support."
