I had some conversations with higher-ups in the NFL. They all usually start with conversations about our current players and turn into: Would you be interested in making a transition to the NFL? I'm glad I had those conversations. I learned a lot.

Indiana's magical run to a College Football Playoff championship was keyed by an exceptional season from transfer quarterback Fernando Mendoza. The Oregon Ducks, who the Hoosiers beat in the semifinals, had a transfer (Malik Benson) as their leading receiver while two freshmen running backs, Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill Jr., were core cogs in the rushing attack.

Ament has missed the past two games with a leg injury that he suffered against Alabama on Feb. 28. He is listed as questionable on the SEC availability report. According to a source, there is no certainty in how much he will play against Auburn, but there is an expectation that he will play.
