Laku, priced out after 30 years, will close
Laku, a Japanese handcraft boutique, will close in January due to raised rent and the owner's decision to retire at 70.
The owner, Yaeko Yamashita, suffered a hit-and-run accident last November and had to close the store for months due to injuries. [ more ]
