Lawsuit Claims James Dolan Pressured Woman Into Sex
A woman has filed a federal lawsuit accusing James Dolan of pressuring her into unwanted sex and coordinating an encounter with Harvey Weinstein, whom she accused of sexually assaulting her.
The woman, Kellye Croft, says she told Dolan about the alleged incident in 2014, years before Dolan claimed he was unaware of Weinstein's misconduct.
The lawsuit alleges that Croft was pressured into unwanted sex by Dolan and then sexually assaulted by Weinstein in a Beverly Hills hotel room. [ more ]
New York Knicks owner, James Dolan, has resigned from the NBA's Board of Governors' advisory/finance and media committees amid a lawsuit against the Toronto Raptors and questioning the objectivity of NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
Dolan will no longer attend Board of Governors meetings, but will retain voting power for the Knicks and will have the team's general counsel represent the organization at meetings.
Dolan has been critical of the league and Silver on various issues, including the NBA's revenue sharing system. [ more ]
