The French sex recession: has la flamme really gone out?
France is experiencing a decline in sexual activity, with 24% of adults saying they hadn't had sex in the previous 12 months.
The decline is steeper among the younger population, with 28% of those aged 18-24 being celibate.
Similar declines in sexual activity have been reported in other countries, including Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Japan, and Australia. [ more ]
