Alex Ovechkin just can't stop breaking records.The Capitals' captain scored his 40th goal of the season Tuesday night, mere minutes after the ceremony honoring his 802nd goal which put him past Gordie Howe for second place on the all-time goal-scoring list had concluded.Ovechkin now has 13 total 40-goal seasons in his career, passing Wayne Gretzky for the most in NHL history.

The Boston Bruins got back into the win column by defeating the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night, but still suffered a loss at Canada Life Center.Derek Forbort, one of Boston's top penalty killers, departed during the second period of the Bruins' win and would not return following the second intermission.

February's Divas & Drinks at The Academy honored Black History Month by recognizing Black female leaders in San Francisco and, as it turns out, they are not hard to find.Over 20 outstanding individuals were announced and given our appreciation, demonstrating a dynamic force that is changing this city incredibly.

Unfortunately, traded players, Dmitry Orlov and Garnet Hathaway, aren't the only Capitals we have to begin saying goodbye to tonight.Capitals' team dog Biscuit is nearing his graduation from the team and his training program.Thursday, "Caps Canines Night" was one of Biscuit's final games as team dog at Capital One Arena.
