Ukraine mounts acts of sabotage in Siberia to staunch Russian artillery
Ukrainian intelligence services claim responsibility for the bombings of two fuel trains in east Siberia believed to be transporting ammunition to the Russian front lines in Ukraine.
The goal of the sabotage operation appears to have been to disable the Severomuysky Tunnel and paralyze the railway route used to transport ordnance.
The bombings resulted in the destruction of at least three fuel cars and serious damage to the rails, causing leaked fuel to flood them. [ more ]
