A chairlift accident at Mt. Hood Skibowl, Oregon, left one maintenance worker dead and another, Evan Parsons, seriously injured. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office reported that a maintenance basket had fallen from the Upper Bowl into steep, rugged terrain. Deputies, multiple fire agencies, search and rescue teams, and U.S. Forest Service law enforcement responded. Unfortunately, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
As per usual, Chris is right. After a brief moment atop the conference, the Caps now sit seventh in the east and dropping. A team that has ranked in the league's top three in five-on-five play has now fallen to 15th in the month of December. They need a change. They need several changes. Recoveries from injury, recoveries from illness, a trade or two, power-play personel patch-up, no more mock turtlenecks from Joe and Craig, etc., etc.
In recent weeks, the Milan squad has been massively affected by injuries, and this can certainly be put forward as a reason for the drop in results - which almost feels unfair to call it. Nevertheless, it seems that they may be exiting that rut. This morning's edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), states that Adrien Rabiot and Christian Pulisic will almost definitely not be in the squad for the Roma game. Whilst it is tempting, it is a risk not worth taking.
