Scotland Yard says police officers spat at and suffered broken bones during horrific' Armistice Day violence
A police officer in central London was injured during Armistice Day unrest and spoke of the hostility faced.
Among the injuries sustained by officers were dislocations, broken bones, and being hit by various projectiles.
