Bay Ridge Playground Gets $5.4M Revamp
The playground at John J. Carty Park in Bay Ridge underwent a $5.4 million renovation, adding new play equipment suitable for children of all ages and abilities, along with sensory features and other recreational amenities.
The park renovation preserved the iconic whale structure and added a sensory play feature in consultation with an occupational therapist, aiming to promote brain development and sensory stimulation for visitors. [ more ]
