Newsom, firefighters back Prop. 1 to tackle homelessness, mental health crisis
Proposition 1 in California aims to address the homeless and mental health crisis by overhauling the state's mental health system and providing funding for housing and services.
If passed, Prop. 1 will allocate $6.38 billion for new treatment beds, supportive housing, outpatient treatment, veteran housing, and mental health worker training. [ more ]
