Google may have sunsetted the Chromecast hardware, but a new firmware update for Samsung TVs will add Google Cast support for all 2026 models as well as select older models - possibly as far back as 2023.

The XR10 throws a 4K UHD image anywhere from 65 to 300 inches, powered by a triple laser light source rated at 6,000 ANSI lumens and a lifespan of 25,000 hours.

Upload any picture or video, and Musubi uses artificial intelligence to extract the most important part and hover it in space as a 3D image within the frame. That could be a video of a child's first steps or a snapshot of a birthday party. The image will be displayed in 3D form, viewable in all its holographic glory across nearly 170 degrees.

Traits I look for in a large TV include good brightness and contrast, advanced local dimming (read: good backlighting) to reduce light bleed from bright objects on dark backgrounds, accuracy to the director's intent, and impressive color saturation, especially for HDR (High Dynamic Range) content.

As per the press release, the TCL-led venture will "leverage Sony's high-quality picture and audio technology, brand value and operational expertise" combined with "TCL's advanced display technology, global scale advantages, industrial footprint, end-to-end cost efficiency". Furthermore, the products will still carry Sony and Bravia branding. The new joint venture is set to operate globally, with the binding agreement set to be finalized by the end of March.

Its AI Picture Pro feature further enhances image quality by adjusting brightness, resolution, clarity, and other settings based on what you're watching. Plus, LG offers Dolby Atmos support for sound that feels more immersive, while offering easy access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, Max, Disney Plus, Hulu, and Apple TV Plus right out of the box. On the gaming side, the TV includes four HDMI 2.1 ports and support for AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync.

While there are certainly fancier models with higher brightness and prices tags to match, we think the QM6K offers a balanced image at a great price point. It has incredible black levels that help create a deep, high-contrast picture. The panel is impressively uniform too, with almost no blooming across the entire screen. It maintains great details in darker areas, even with the preset on Dolby Vision Dark. Colors are natural and vivid, adding to the realism and immersion of the experience.
