San Jose couple charged in $18,000 ornament burglary from Hindu temple

A San Jose man and his girlfriend allegedly stole five gold ornaments worth $18,000 from a Fremont Hindu temple; the man was arrested.

Thieves used power tools to break into a Fremont Hindu temple safe, stealing cash offerings and leaving devotees feeling violated and unsafe.
