Police arrest a teenage boy in connection with the MGM Resorts ransomware attack
A 17-year-old from England is suspected of causing a ransomware attack on MGM Resorts in Las Vegas.
The teenager was part of a global cyber online crime group that claimed responsibility for multiple attacks.
The attack on MGM Resorts was executed through a simple phone call to a Help Desk employee using LinkedIn information. [ more ]
