It Rains Molten Sand on This Backward Alien Planet, Webb Telescope Data Reveals

WASP-107b is a gas giant planet that orbits its star backward, in what astronomers call a retrograde orbit.
Data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) reveals that WASP-107b has a glowing tail of helium and rains molten sand.
