Alex Gogic criticizes the abuse directed at goalkeeper Ryan Mullen from fans after a Scottish Cup defeat, emphasizing support for teammates.
Apologies to all fans of you who follow us everywhere, who are always there and will continue to be. We are responsible, there's no doubt about that. I am the first. But we will keep facing up to it and trying to turn the situation around, for ourselves and for the club. Especially at times like this, keeping quiet, working harder and moving forward all together, is part of football. All together, it will be easier.
In its report, the FA said the two incidents were reported by anti-racism group Kick It Out on 7 May. The FA said in response to the report the club reviewed CCTV, liaised with Lincolnshire Police and interviewed stewards. A number of fans had "been identified as perpetrators" and "seven individuals were banned from the club for varying periods," the FA added.
