Pet care a family affair at new Oakley veterinary clinic

When Ojala Family Pet Care opened last June 30 in Oakley, Dr. Austin Ojala and his sister, Alexa Ojala, say it fulfilled one of their longtime goals: creating a family-run veterinary clinic rooted in transparency and community care. The brother-sister team say theirs is the only sibling-operated veterinary clinic they know of in East Contra Costa County. There are a few father-son or father-daughter clinics in Contra Costa County, but we are the only sibling-run clinic (in East County), Alexa Ojala said.
