A local tradition since 1994, Skate Under the Palms, formerly known as Downtown Ice in San Jose, is the only rink in the world that offers skating in and around a circle of 32 palm trees. Typically, there are special events throughout the season as well, but the 2025-26 event schedule has not yet been announced (as of 11/17/25). Get 90 minutes of free parking on weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends in select lots.
