Florida fines high school for allowing transgender student to play girls volleyball
A Florida high school is fined and put on probation for allowing a transgender student to play on the girls volleyball team, in violation of a state law.
The 2021 law, named The Fairness in Women's Sports Act, bans transgender girls and women from participating in public school teams designated for girls. [ more ]
