Brussels proposes tightening control over foreign investments made through subsidiaries in Europe
Brussels is proposing tighter control over foreign investments to prevent strategic companies from falling into unwanted hands, mainly Chinese and Middle Eastern countries.
The EU Commission is also seeking to control exports of dual-use technology and monitor European investments in advanced technologies in third countries. [ more ]
