David Andrews, Jonathan Jones named co-recipients of Patriots' 2024 Ed Block Courage Award

Center David Andrews and cornerback Jonathan Jones have been named co-recipients of the 2024 Ed Block Courage Award by the New England Patriots.

The award is given annually to players who exemplify courage, sportsmanship, and inspiration.

Proceeds from the awards banquet will support the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation's Courage House National Support Network for Kids. [ more ]

Calvin Austin III Named Steelers' Ed Block Courage Award Winner

Calvin Austin III has been named the Pittsburgh Steelers' recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award.

The award is given to a player who has shown courage in coming back from an injury or life-altering situation.

Austin has played 266 snaps on offense and 35 snaps on special teams this season, with 15 receptions for 65 yards and one touchdown. [ more ]
