The SP5+ is considered a fitness-focused electric bike with an aluminum frame, carbon fork, one-piece aluminum stem/bar, and aluminum wheels. The frame houses a Branta-branded XDS Mid-Drive X800 motor with 250-watt maximum continuous rated power, and 400 watt peak power, and 85Nm of torque.
Surly describes the new Sorceress as a 'progressive hardtail built for ever-evolving trails and the humanoids who can't get enough of them.' The frame's design emphasizes low standover height and maximized dropper post travel to enhance rider comfort and control across different body types.
Even before I ever came to the U.S., I'd heard the legends of the White Rim Trail. It's not only an iconic mountain bike adventure, but also a route with a deep history of FKT attempts that I've followed throughout my career. It's incredibly special to see my name alongside, and ahead of, some amazing athletes. Next time, though, I'd like to slow things down a bit and take in the views.
SHREDLY's apparel has always stood out for its bold colors and patterns, and they're ramping it up for 2026. The brand says its 'our most expressive yet - a fun, earthy collection of prints and colorways inspired by the spirit of mountain biking.'
The core idea here isn't gimmickry. It's composure. Specifically, the idea that a calmer, more composed ride creates speed, and that a platform intentionally designed around 32-inch wheels can deliver that in a way a scaled-up 29er simply can't.
Perhaps the most significant change Otso made to the Waheela R is a geometry tweak. The goal with this gravel race bike was to create a frame that was confident, stable, and comfortable at high speeds. They also knew the Waheela R would need to replicate this performance on rough terrain.
With this Carbon Road, we're trying to blur the lines between 'entry level' and real performance. Phil joked that he thinks Tadej could win the Tour on this frame, and that's exactly the point. This bike wouldn't be out of place, built with SRAM Rival as a killer 'starter' carbon road bike, and then you look up, and you've got our sponsored guys building the same frameset with SRAM Red or Shimano Dura-Ace and going out there setting records.
Arizona's State Bicycle Company has a video series called "Riding Fixed, Up Mountains, With Pros". And apparently, this is episode 17! Man, I didn't even know these existed. If you have an extra 30 minutes, it's worth the watch. Keegan starts the climb at 5515′ and climbs 3204′ over 24 miles on a fixed-gear bike, smashing a 48tx19t! And there is a surprise at the end...
A high-energy NST Dream Ticket qualifier went down this weekend in the hills above Queenstown, with five riders earning the final Dream Ticket invitations into the 27-rider roster for Natural Selection Bike 2026. In total, five riders-four international competitors and one New Zealand local-punched their tickets in front of a packed crowd, closing the door on last-chance qualification and setting the final puzzle pieces for competition on Mt. Dewar.
