They're one of the more comfortable gaming headsets that I've had the opportunity to review, thanks to a combination of their super lightweight build and breathable mesh earcups, and they even fit my oversized noggin. Because they don't have ANC, they have a much more open and natural sound profile, which is nice for anyone who needs to still be aware of their surroundings while deep in a round of Arc Raiders.

The 20th Anniversary Edition of the Razer Boomslang replaces those mechanical components with a 45,000 DPI optical sensor. The original mouse's symmetrical ambidextrous design has been carried forward, but the new Boomslang is now wireless with an 8,000Hz polling rate and comes with a Razer Mouse Dock Pro wireless charging stand. Settling in for "just one more run" usually means your thumbs, wrists, or forearms start complaining long before the game is done. Most controllers are fixed objects that expect your body to adapt, which can lead to repetitive strain or numbness. You either push through the discomfort or take breaks that feel like interruptions, but rarely can you adjust the hardware itself to match how your hands actually feel in that moment.
