Pace of property price rises eased in July, dropping below 5pc in dearest neighbourhoods

The latest Central Statistics Office (CSO) data shows the greatest slow down was in Dublin. House prices in the capital were 6pc higher at the end of July than a year earlier. Prices had been up 6.8pc in the 12 months to the end of June. The CSO Residential Property Price Index shows property prices outside Dublin were 8.7pc higher in July 2025 when compared with a year earlier, a slight decrease, from 8.8pc in the year to June 2025.
