The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 10-7 in spring training, maintaining an undefeated record despite early deficits.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are inching closer to a 12th division title in the last 13 years, and could clinch it in Arizona this week as they begin a three-game series against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday night. Right-handed pitcher Shohei Ohtani (1-1, 3.29 ERA) is taking the mound for the final time this regular season. Opposite Ohtani will be Diamondbacks right-handed Brandon Pfaadt (13-8, 5.02 ERA). The Dodgers lineup will have Tommy Edman starting at second and LA will deploy its typical defensive outlook for the outfield against a righty with Teoscar Hernandez, Michael Conforto, and Andy Pages starting. Ben Rortvedt will be behind the plate with Will Smith still sidelined.
