The Cowboys will start their season with back-to-back divisional games at the New York Giants and home for the Washington Commanders. Both the Giants and Commanders will be looking to have their say in beginning a new streak of NFC East winners, after the Eagles claimed back-to-back division titles for any East team since 2001-04. It's the Cowboys that carry the higher expectations to break up this run by the Eagles though, as the only other team besides Philadelphia to win the division since 2020.

Sunday's slate features some key divisional games, with the Chicago Bears heading to Lambeau Field to face the Packers with first place in the NFC North at stake. The top two teams in the AFC North meet as well, with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Houston Texans and Chiefs, both fighting to make the AFC playoff field, meet up for "Sunday Night Football," and the week wraps up with the Eagles visiting the Los Angeles Chargers.

Entering Week 10, the Rams have a 37.1% chance to win the division, followed by the 49ers (35.0%) and Seahawks (27.6%), according to ESPN Research. It's the sixth time since 2002 that there are three teams from the same division with at least six wins each through Week 9, according to ESPN Research. It happened last season in the NFC North with the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.
